New work: PEN, Poem-a-Day, and The Offing
Over the last week, new poems have been popping up all over. I'm very honored to have these out in the world. And hopefully they give a taste of what's to come in Love the Stranger.
The PEN Poetry Series ran two pieces: "Telemachus to Awareness" and "The Partners."
The Academy of American Poets made "On Speaking Quietly with My Brother" its Poem-a-Day this Monday. You can also hear me reading it.
And today The Offing published one of the opening poems in Love the Stranger: "Amor Fati."
Stay tuned-- more coming soon. And if you haven't yet preordered the book, you can still do so here.
